Muslims have nothing to do with terrorism. ISIS and terrorist organisations are the issue. Not Muslims

No country should be governed based on religion so the Muslim brotherhood should be stopped

 @B57SC6DLaboranswered…2mos2MO

no, unless it comes to Egypt actually starting a civil war and the military is attempting to resolve it

 @B57NYYHanswered…2mos2MO

No; the Egyptian military crackdown, in response to the democratic election of Mohammed Morsi, of the Islamist, Muslim Brotherhood, Organisation, is in direct contradiction to the principles of political freedom, for which Australia stands. Henceforth and in this stance, the Egyptian military cannot receive Australia’s support.

No, we should not get involved in a foreign civil war, unless it is to supply humanitarian aid to civilians, or to prevent serious human rights violations

 @B4PHSGCanswered…2mos2MO

No - Muslim Brotherhood advocates political violence, but such a crackdown is also political violence. Self-determination is a fundamental human right and Australia should support that - but the UN should do more to disarm political groups using violence and intimidation such as MB & Hamas.

Australia should not involve this kind of dangerous Military Operations or war!

 @92WGVZHanswered…3yrs3Y

Sadly this is not an Australian problem if it becomes apparent that Australians are being affected we should do something but also what is the UN doing?

 @92SSQ99Liberalanswered…3yrs3Y

If Egypt is apart of an Australian war alliance then we should be able to supply assistance in resources and minimal men. Unless the Muslim brotherhood intends to inflict possible crimes against Australia. Then we should assist more intensely

I don’t have enough of an understanding of this question to give a good answer. If the election was free and fair and can be held again then democracy reins supreme

 @99YJYS4Greenanswered…2yrs2Y

I don't understand how this is at all relevant to Australian politics. Complex geopolitical issues warrant nuanced and extended discussion, not knee-jerk judgements. Foreign policy is not nearly as relevant as the observable fact that our government is set up not to benefit the people, but to enrich the powerful.

 @96NCDT3answered…3yrs3Y

Australia needs to be mindful of what side they are funding either assisting the complete control of Egypt by one governing body or have the country plunge into anarchy

 @aicroanswered…3yrs3Y

We shouldn’t necessarily support the Muslim Brotherhood’s cause, interests or values/beliefs - but if the Brotherhood won fairly within a democratic election, Australia has no business or right in intervening unless it poses a direct violent threat to Australia or it’s allies.

 @8TH4HRBanswered…4yrs4Y

I don't think Australia should get involved but I also think religion and politics should never mix
